Technology

Red Rock Family Dentistry feels it is important to give our patients the best available. Advancements in dentistry allow dental procedures to be carried out more comfortably and conveniently than ever before.

Same-Day Crowns

Long gone are the days of multiple appointments for one crown and wearing flimsy plastic temporaries. In our office, we utilize CAD/CAM technology that allows us to permanently cement a crown from start to finish in one appointment. The final crown is bonded to your tooth with cement so that once you leave our office, you can resume chewing and smiling like normal.

Intraoral Camera

Most of our patients don’t spend time staring at their teeth in the mirror, so we use intraoral cameras to help show our patients the state of their current dental health. This can be useful for understanding procedures because the patient sees exactly what we see.

Our camera is small and comfortable which makes it easy to quickly snap photos of your teeth.

Digital X-Rays

We utilize digital x-rays in our office for diagnostic purposes. Digital x-rays provide us with a very clear image and often we can detect issues before they cause any pain or problems. We are able to see below the gumline and between the teeth, which we cannot see during a visual exam. Digital x-rays also use much less radiation than conventional x-rays which makes the diagnostic process safe for our patients.
